Of course, this poses one challenge. We're going out of town soon, and we now have to deal with the task of traveling with frozen milk. Not just a little. Like 260 ounces of it. I'm thinking dry ice will be my friend. But seriously, I don't think it's going to be all that easy to deal with this. So if you have ever done this and have any suggestions, let me know. I appreciate any advice.
In Kennedy news - she's really picking up on the concept of a sippy cup. She still dribbles with it, so I only put a little water in. Oh, and she hasn't quite figured out that she has to tip it back to get anything out of it. I guess we need one with a straw.
I don't get it mom, I can't get any more out?
Goodnight everyone! xoxo
P.S. Canadian Down syndrome Awareness week has come to an end. And honestly, I'm tired! I need a blogging break, so I may be MIA for a few days. That is, unless something unbelievable happens. Or I get some adorable pictures of Kennedy, which is likely.
Wow! So impressed for you to have pumped so long and so much.
ReplyDeleteJenn dry ice works great. We had to useitwhen we lostpower last week. Just make sure noone touches itwith bare hands.
ReplyDeleteI just discovered sweet Kennedy and am IN LOVE! I have struggled with breastfeeding since my daughter's surgery and am just starting to wean off now after an exhausting 2 months trying to get my supply back up to her needs. I understand the sensitivity. You are smart to have such a stash! Good luck with the traveling!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, you did great, don't stress feeling like you didn't get what you wanted. However, I do also know from my Calvin and I struggling for 4 months that it is hard when things don't go as planned. Congrats and best wishes traveling!
