Grow Baby Grow!

I'm thrilled to announce that Kennedy is weighing in at 13 pounds 6 ounces!!!!!  That's nearly a 2 pound gain in less than 3 weeks!  This is almost unbelievable.  If I hadn't seen the numbers on the scale myself, I would never have believed it. 

It's hard to believe that she's already almost 6 months old.  As much as I loved the newborn stage, where it was all snuggles - I REALLY love this age.  Every day Kennedy does something completely new and adorable.  She smiles and giggles more and more every day.  This afternoon we were laying on the bed, and I was giving her kisses.  She was "talking" to me and laughing!  She reached up and rub her hand on my face and just gave me the hugest smile.  It's moments like that which melt my heart.  Every day becomes more and more fun, especially now that heart surgery is behind us.  I can only imagine the memories that we'll make in the years to come.
